It will be an eventful day where you can come, kick back, relax, get to know the active chapter and get the scoop on all the exciting things happening here at Adelante.

The big date is approaching fast and the Andiron will be mailed shortly will the same details and will contain the RSVP slip. The date is Saturday November 17th, 2007 at the Memorial Union. • Please RSVP and send checks/cash by the enclosed envelope no later than November 7th. • Attire will be shirt and tie reccommended In addition to the formal Banquet and Celebration there will be other events that weekend. Here is a current list of activities. Schedule of Events: Friday Nov. 16th – Afternoon Jerry Homeyer (Class of ’85) is hosting a F.A.C. at the house. For more information contact him at JLHomeyer@aol.com Saturday Nov. 17th • Noon – 4pm Open House at Fraternity House (318 Welch Ave) – Snacks and beverages will be available • 4:30-6:30pm Social Hours at the Sun Room in the Memorial Union (Pay Parking available at Memorial Union Parking Ramp) • 4:30pm Annual Corporation and Foundation meetings will be held before the banquet in the Sun Room for those interested. • 6:30-7:45pm Buffet Dinner (Cost $25 per person) • 7:45-8:30pm Formal Program including slide show presentations • 8:30-10pm Social Hours • 10pm – Celebration at the Fraternity House Additional Information • Cash bar available at the Memorial Union • Please contact a hotel of your choice as soon as you can if you need a room (Memorial Union has rooms as well) • A shuttle may be available between the Memorial Union and the House • Parking is usually costs 50-75 cents per hour at the Memorial Union ramp • If you know anyone who is NOT on the alumni directory list and thus did not receive this please let them know how to RSVP • The total cost to pay to the Fraternity is the $25 per person for the meal and program at the Memorial Union – however be sure to accommodate for the cost of parking and hotel costs if you are staying overnight • Please make checks payable to Adelante Fraternity (cash is not recommended through mail but is still acceptable) • Any questions call the house at 515-292-7733 and ask for Adam Tabor or Alex Lundgren In Search of Old Photos Last Updated: 2007-10-22 21:16:02 Hello everyone! Hope the summer is going well. The 100th Anniversary Celebration for Adelante is rapidly apporoaching (Saturday November 17, 2007) and some of us will be working to put together a presentation or slide show full of older photos and memoribilia as well as recent pictures.
That said we are looking for anyone who may have photos or anything worthy of being in this special presenation or simply to be at the celebration. We can scan the pictures and get them on a computer and return the photos when finished.
